Wonderful Volunteers & Supporters!
Your participation and assistance in coordinating and promoting our fashion show is so greatly appreciated and I hope that you’ve had fun being a part of it. Our goal of this event is to raise money to help support our mission and after a full review of the elements involved, we are quite a distance away from where we need to be to achieve a positive result. Please know that it is with great thought and much disappointment that we will be canceling our Eco Couture event, scheduled for October 8, 2009 at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
We will continue to honor our commitment to all the incredible students who entered our Trunk-To-Funk redesign contest with the three scholarship awards, and are working with the instructor at Long Beach City College, to provide a fun happening for them all to announce the winners.
To all of you - thank you for your wonderful support over the past several months, your enthusiasm and your great work in turning thoughts of a fashion show in to what would have been a terrifically fun event.
